Today we’re talking about a classic in the makeup world! – black smokey eyes. They are a classic look over decades now, but what’s the easiest way to wear them, without looking like a racoon at the end? We all had this moment, right?

I want to show you the way I love to wear black smokey eyes, but of course, that’s not the only way to do them. I personally just find this way of doing them easy to achieve smokey eyes and easier to wear them, plus also they don’t look as stark and you don’t get the muddy effect. To give you a detailed look into the makeup look I created a tutorial on it, because seeing what I do in detail will help you even more to achieve a classic black smokey eye.

Black smokey eyes are a makeup classic over decades now and is definitely a look everyone wants to wear from time to time. And of course everyone of us wants to look just stunning wearing them! To achieve a beautiful smokey eye, you can follow my easy tips and tricks on doing a black smokey eye. What’s really important is first, blending, second, don’t be afraid of it and third, more blending! Yes, to make a smokey eye really seemless blending is key. I know I say this a lot, but I really mean it. If you send a little bit more time in the process black smokey eyes actually can look really awesome on almost anybody. Although I would recommend to use lighter colors, the older you get. Not only will it look softer on your face, it also will compliment your face even more.
