Every now and then you buy pieces of clothes, you end up forgetting, although you see it every time you open your drawers. For me this is this shirt I bought about 4 years ago in a vintage store in London. When I went to London I knew I need to trudge round all the vintage store I can and I had so much fun digging around in all these unique pieces of clothing from the last few decades. I love to shop second hand clothes even when some pieces I bought back then ended up lying in my closet most of the days.

Anyways, the other day, when I got my wide satin trousers I wanted to do a “outfit for petite ladies” for you, I thought about what I could combine it with and at that very moment the bright red shirt came into my mind. I used to style it all buttoned up till the neck and most of the times hanging loose – and back then I was not really liking it, that’s why it found it’s way back into the closet every time instead of me putting it on and wearing it.

But paired with these trousers and a vintage bag (if you have one), some black and red high heels I loved it! It’s a simple mix of petite vintage chic. Now I styled it like this, I guess I will keep this shirt and hopefully will wear it more often, as well combined it’s really sexy and not as stuffy as I remembered it.

What do you guys think? Do you like vintage pieces?
