Today’s look is full of new things. New makeup I’ve tried the first time today and a new hairstyle. As you might already know by following my blog, I like to change my hair a lot. I have cut my hair about a year ago, colored it several times since then and now having super short hair I wanted to try to lighten it. But today’s look is also about the makeup. So I tried a few new makeup products as well.
As spring is coming, there are also a lot of new makeup products on the market. Plus I received a few products in pr and as I got in the Top 15 I got a whole lot of new stuff as well, from Nyx. I combined them with a few of my all time favorites and products which are new favorites as well.
Starting with my base, I only used favorites I realized. My base doesn’t change a lot, as I like to use the same products again and again, when I see them work great. My strobe cream and smoothing primer are stables in my routine, as well as the Bobbi Brown foundation I tested a few months ago. A little concealer and powder before going in with my cream contour.
I’ve hated to do cream contour. But the last few months I love the natural look it gives. As a blush I went in with a new ombre blush from Nyx.
For eyes I wanted to do something natural. I tried the new palette from L.O.V in prismatic. The shimmers are actually really nice, but I went in with a darker shade in the crease and outer corner, to give it a little bit more dimension. Another favorite is definitely the Paradise mascara from Loreal. A stable since it came out!
Finishing of with brows and my ABH brow wiz in granite, this look is already complete!
Products I’ve used:
Foundation – Bobbi Brown Skin Long-Wear Weightless sand
Concealer – Revolution Conceal and Refine C1
Powder – Mac Patrick’s Powder
Contour – Illamasqua Gel Sculpt Stick silhouette
Blush – NYX ombre blush insta flame
Mascara – Loreal Paradise
Brows – ABH brow wiz granite
Now we’re definitely ying-yang!
